Climate Solution: The power in our hands

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues of our time, and it’s clear that we all have a role to play in finding solutions. One of the leading voices in this conversation is Mridula Ramesh, founder of the Sundaram Climate Institute and author of the critically acclaimed book «The Climate Solution: India’s Climate Change Crisis and What We Can Do About It.»

She worked at McKinsey in Silicon Valley before returning to India to focus on cleantech start-ups. She is an active angel investor, with a portfolio of over 15 start-ups, and sits on several angel management groups, including the Indian Angels and the Chennai Angels.

The Sundaram Climate Institute, founded by Mridula, focuses on waste and water solutions and education. She also writes regularly on climate change and is part of the Advisory Committee, UNDP India National Circular Economy Project, and the Chairperson of the Board of Governors, of NIT, Andhra Pradesh.

Mridula has always been passionate about using her knowledge and experience to make a difference in the world, and she has made it her mission to spur entrepreneurship and build climate resilience. She is an inspiration to many and her work is a testament to the power that each and every one of us has to make a difference.

The Climate Solution is not just about the government or large organizations, it starts with each one of us. We all have the power to make a difference, whether it’s through the products we buy, the way we live our lives, or the kind of work we do. Mridula Ramesh and the Sundaram Climate Institute are a shining example of the kind of impact that one person can have when they are driven by a passion for making the world a better place
