Nature holds the key to many of our Sustainability related challenges. Over a period of 3.8 billion years Nature has refined and distilled the strategies, models, shapes and systems that work best for Life, ALL of Life on Earth. Nature can teach us how to design sustainable products and services, and how to create healthy and vibrant social systems. In this webinar we share some examples of how Nature can empower us with solutions that can boost our business triple bottom line.

About the speakers

Carolina Fernández-Jansink Co-Founder at Origen Group. She is a regenerative business consultant, living systems strategist, sustainable finance expert and biomimic. She helps companies and their leaders realign to the way Nature works to accelerate their transition towards positive impact and financial performance. She has more than 15 years’ experience working with Sustainable Business and Finance leaders in Europe, Latin America and North America. She is the founder of Cascading Sustainability LLC, a Regenerative Business consultancy. She is Head of the Americas at COBIOM, a sustainable swarm intelligence platform. She holds an Msc in B.A. degree from Erasmus-Rotterdam School of Management, and is Biomimicry Certified by Biomimicry 3.8. She has received training on Ecosystem’s Health by nRhythm and Regenerative Entrepreneurship by The University for International Cooperation.

Daniela Esponda Co-Founder at Origen Group. She is unafraid to imagine a future of Nature-inspired design. She is a biomimetic Industrial Designer with 10 years’ experience in product design and development, Biophilia, and green business. She has won multiple international awards for her creative and innovative Biomimetic solutions, such as The Biomimicry Launchpad; Haechi prize Olympic design in Seoul, Korea; Cleantech Challenger Mexico; and Green Shelter Facility. She has developed several patents and trademarks. She has facilitated conferences and workshops on the Science of Biomimicry and teaches Biomimetic Science at the Science Faculty of the UNAM in Mexico.She is the Founder of Nature Design Lab, a firm focused on the development of innovative sustainable technologies. She holds the Functional Leadership position at the BiomimicryMex network, based in Mexico City. She has a degree in Industrial Design from Universidad Iberoamericana, a master’s degree in Biomimicry from the University of Arizona and is professional certified by Biomimicry 3.8.
